BIO
Although I'd been making music for years, I'd been working on my new album 'WORLD // WHY' in 2017 which was due to be released in March 2018. Just after the album was released I was fortunate enough to be contacted by Heir Productions why offered me the chance to work with them in the production of the music video for '1-800-273-8255 ft. Alessia Cara and Khalid'. The music video is out now and is available to watch on both YouTube and this website.
One quote that I live by is "Where words fail, music speaks." This quote is important to me because through what I'm doing (making music) my aim is to help people, regardless of what they are going through. If even one person finds comfort in my music, I've done my job as a musician. Through my music I aim to open up conversations about issues that aren't given the attention they deserve like mental health issues.
At the beginning of my journey, I had my fair share of disappointments and rejections but I didn't let this put me off pursuing my dream of making music. I used these set backs as further motivation to get where I wanted to be; the fact that many people didn't have faith in me make me realise how important it is to have faith in yourself. Without this I don't think I'd be where I am today. You have to have faith in yourself in order for others to see it in you.

'Music has been my passion from a young age, I never imagined that I'd ever go from singing songs in my bedroom to performing my very own songs on stage.' - The Throne
Whilst growing up I found that music was an escape for me, whatever was going on in my life, knowing that I could put my headphones on, close my eyes and be taken to another place no matter how short the time, really helped me.
What was really important to me when HEIR contacted me concerning the '1-800' music video was that it must bring attention to mental health issues. Through the narrative and visuals of the music video I was able to create greater awareness and for this I'd like to thank everyone involved in the production and distribution process. Hopefully you guys like the music video!
